Wollstonecraft

Lifestyle

Only one square kilometre in area, Wollstonecraft is your dream place of domicile indeed, if top on your list are the words harbourside, private, quiet, parklands, but a hop and a skip to city life.

Named after an English landowner and merchant of the 1800s, Wollstonecraft is approximately 5km from the CBD – sitting along the train line means you’re in the city in 11 minutes even during rush hours. It is surrounded by the other affluent suburbs of Waver-ton, Crows Nest and Greenwich and more nature reserves than that of many suburbs five times its size. Professional couples are drawn here but so are parents of toddlers, who love the parks and the local child-care facilities.

St Leonards, Crows Nest and North Sydney are all within short walking distance from Wollstonecraft, offering easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars. Mater Hospital is just around the corner.

People

The residents are a mixture of young professional couples/singles, young families, retirees and empty nesters from the Upper North Shore.

Homes

Wollstonecraft’s housing options range from stunning premium family homes with water and park views to neatly tucked away one-bedroom apartments or studios, as well as townhouses and two-bedroom apartments within strolling distance of the train station.
