Waverton

Lifestyle

Waverton is an oasis of calm just minutes away from the neighbouring bustling suburbs of North Sydney and Milsons Point.

Many of Waverton’s streets and apartment buildings enjoy stupendous views of the Harbour to the City and across Berrys Bay, and with little through traffic, it is a tranquil place to live.

With its village-like atmosphere and some handy shops and cafes centred around Waverton railway station, it is also extremely convenient.

Many people who call this suburb home have lived here for years and there are numerous long-established family homes. But there are also about an equal number of apartment dwellers and renters who enjoy Waverton’s charm.

To appreciate the suburb to the full you need to get your walking shoes on and explore the many waterside walks and the forested headland that is Balls Head Reserve, with its stunning views – especially for the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.

For that special hidden gem of a suburb, you can’t go past Waverton.
